Share a report

This guide walks you through producing a shareable record of a takedown case, so you can hand it to a colleague, a lawyer, or another stakeholder without giving them access to nebty itself. The red numbers in the screenshots match the numbers in each step.

You need a takedown case to report on. Any case works, whether it is still open or already Closed. If you have not opened one yet, start with Request a takedown.

  1. Open the takedown case. Select Takedowns (1) in the navigation, then select the case you want to report on (2).

  2. Choose Generate Report. The button (1) sits at the top right of the case, next to its status. Every case has this action, regardless of its current status. A closed case offers it as well. nebty builds a PDF in the background and emails it to you with a download link, so it will not appear immediately.

  3. Once the email arrives, share the PDF with whoever needs it, for example a colleague, a manager, or an external lawyer. The report stands on its own, so the person you send it to does not need a nebty account to make sense of it.

The report captures the case as it stood at the moment you generated it: the underlying finding, the evidence nebty gathered, and the case’s progress and outcome so far. If the case is still open, generate a fresh report later to reflect its current status.
